Are Asuran summons effected by Spawning Power?

No, they're not "spirits" in the sense ANet has implemented them. They're allies that follow you around and attack whatever target you attack.

So what, neither are minions and they are effected by the Spawning Power.

Yeah Res Ipsi, Spawning affects "summoned creatures" not just spirits. Spawning should affect Asuran Summon just like it does minions. However, the real way to go is to use Signet of Illusions on it.

I see your point, though spirits/minions are not technically 'summoned', they're created or exploited from corpses. I assumed ANet used this particular wording so as not to link any Asuran summon skill to a profession attribute line. Doing so undermines the purpose of linking them to the Asuran title line in the first place. If they do in fact behave the same way minions/spirits work with Spawning Power, good for Rits.

Asura summon skills summon a creature. Spawning power affects created or animated creatures only. I would assume the same goes for the vanguard assassin summon as well.

Hush now!.....If they find out about mesmers actualy being of use they will nerf it so they can't use Signet of illusions anymore
